Homemade Face Spray: Moisturizing Mist Perfect For Your Skin
I’ve said it before and I will say it again. DRY SKIN IS A SIN, it’s the root of all wrinkles. But sometimes ladies, that good old moisturizer that you slather on in the morning just doesn’t do your skin justice. Wind, weather, pollutants and what not all play a role in ruining your regime. Don’t even let me get started on those nasty UV rays.
So, on those scorching summer days of surf, sun, and sand (or even ones without the surf or the sand), a soothing sprits, some moisturizing mist may be just what you need to quench that dry skin of yours. So here it is, homemade face spray that can actually be used all over.
Let’s go ahead and dive right in.
What You Need:
- ¼ cup of distilled water
- 2 teaspoons of vegetable glycerine
- 1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil
- 5 drops of Vitamin E oil, or one gel capsule
- 10 drops of essential of of your choice

What To Do:
All you have to do is mix all of the ingredients in a small spray bottle, about 3 oz should suffice. Then simply shake and take. Give your skin a quick spritz whenever you feel the need for a quick refresher. But be sure that you shake before each time. Also, this face spray is actually great all around.
Why Its Good:
Did you know that Glycerine is actually hygroscopic. Hygro what? Simply put, this means that it can actually absorb water right from the air. Now what better ingredient for a skin moisturizer than that? Basically, what the glycerine does is that it draws the moisture to your skin leaving it soft, supple, and smooth. Plus, you won’t have any problems mixing it with water. Perfect face spray combination indeed.
Grapeseed oil is amazing for your skin. First of all, when it comes to hydrating, this oil actually mimics the sebum in the way that it moisturizes your skin. As if that weren’t enough, grapeseed oil is also a great source of antioxidants. And you know what that means. Antioxidants = anti aging. And a third benefit is that it is that aside from keeping your skin dry, it also keeps it from being uneven in skin tone.
Well, this is a no brainer. Everyone knows how great vitamin E is for the skin. But to be a little bit more specific, did you know that this vitamin actually provides protection from the sun? Sure, it is no match for your daily sunscreen, but remember, a little help can go a long way. Aside from that, it is another great source of antioxidants, plus, it even helps fight acne as well as the scars it may leave behind.
