Homemade Glow Serum

Serums are basically super charged moisturizers. And as we always say, dry skin is a sin and is the root of all wrinkles, but to add to that, it also causes a dull, lifeless skin tone. So to brighten up your face the natural way, check out this homemade glow serum.

What You Need:

What To Do:

Once you have everything you need, it is just a matter of mixing all the ingredients together. You could do so in a bowl. Then once you get to your vitamin E capsules, prick a hole in each and squeeze out the good stuff. Mix. Using a funnel, pour your homemade glow serum into a clean, dry amber bottle (preferably with dropper!). Give it a good shake and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Why use an amber bottle? Dark glass helps protect the therapeutic and aromatic properties of essential oils and carrier oils by keeping out the deteriorating effects of sunlight. Cobalt blue bottles are also another option.

How To Apply:

After you’ve washed your face, pat dry. Then use your toner and follow up with your homemade glow serum. Just take a drop or two and gently pat onto your skin. With serums, a patting motion is the way to go because this way, you’re actually patting the product into your skin rather than rubbing it out and just spreading it all over. Thus, your skin really gets to “Drink up” all the good stuff. You GLOW, girl.
