We may very well be fooled by the skin and the bod that she’s got.  Mother of 2, 43 year old “Jenny from the block” doesn’t even look a day over 30. How does she do it? Well here is the down low on JLo. Check out this celeb’s beauty secrets that keep years off her face and the pounds off her waist.

Lopez has actually been known to use very minimal products as part of her skin care regime.

I don’t have facials or treatments. I don’t like messing with my face or my skin too much. I don’t do scrubs or peels or anything like that, I just do the basics. I use moisture masks a lot though.

And of course, prevention is definitely better than cure. Protect, protect, protect. Sun screen definitely makes the list. And when she wants that healthy tan?

 The number one beauty tip Scott Barnes (celebrity make up artist)  has taught me is to stay out of the sun. We’ve always worked with bronzers and self tanners  instead. It’s been over 10 years now that Scott has been telling me to stay out of the sun and it has saved my skin.

And to cleanse away all the dirt and grime?

I use a very clean soap from a dermatologist.

The fact that she has never smoked a cigarette in her life is a huge plus too.

Now you know where JLo gets her glow, but what about that rockin’ bod?  Like a whole lot of celebrities, she too turns to Tracy Anderson when getting ready for a movie, a gig, or a tour.

“When someone’s preparing for tours and giving energy to that many people, they can’t be out of shape,” Tracy says. “Her workouts have to give her the ability to have endurance for the show,” adding, “We don’t want to change her sexy body!”

“She needs to get her exercise in one hour each day,” she says. “30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of muscular structure.”

Take to your bed. Sleep! I think sometimes we get caught up in what we need to do next and forget about what are the very essential and important things in life. I treasure my time to sleep. It’s just as important as eating or exercise.

Beauty comes from inside, it’s been said many times, but I believe it’s the truth.
