When it comes to smoothies, there are about a million different recipes to try, heck probably even more. Here is one of our favorites, the Lemon Ginger Zinger. Boost your morning, boost your metabolism, and boost your immune system, too.
If you’re a smoothie making pro, then the hardest part about this recipe would be getting all the ingredients in place or cleaning up after. If you’re a first timer, well then, let’s walk you through it, although it really isn’t all that hard to do. First, gather everything you need.
What You Need:
- 1 Banana, medium sized
- 1 Cup Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger, also fresh
- 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt, preferably plain
- 1/2 Cup Water
What To Do:
Once you have everything ready, then it is just a matter of whizzing away. On a side note, to get a tablespoon of fresh ginger, you could dice it up or even just use a grater. So all you really have to do is add everything into your blender and mix until you have a pretty smooth consistency. Then you are done.
Pour it out and drink it up. Enjoy!
